Heidi has an enthusiastic and fresh attitude to healthy living and eating and hopes to inspire and motivate others to make positive choices in their own lives. Her personal background in holistic nutrition and cooking combined with a university education in nutrition allows her to offer the scientific reasoning along with practical and creative tools to clients who want to optimize their energy, health and zest for life. Heidi is a strong believer in the energetic and life-giving qualities of whole foods and believes that eating is a joy in life that can be celebrated. Her nutrition consultations offer an in depth analyses of current dietary behavior, goal setting, motivational counseling, customized meal planning and grocery tours.
Heidi is also excited to guide others in their practice of yoga and hopes to bring her students an energizing, inspiring and heart-filled class. She is an adamant believer in the healing power of yoga, having suffered and recovered from wrist and shoulder injuries while pursuing her passion for rock-climbing. Her classes emphasize a mind-full approach to movement, especially while working through injuries. She will guide you into strengthening and aligning your physical body while connecting with your breath and inner-self.
