Michelle Lozada RMT, Yoga Instructor, Clinic Technician
Michelle’s first passion is music, which brought her to love dance and Capoeira
(Brazillian Martial Art). However, after a dance-related injury, she was forced to slow
things down. A friend recommended yoga, which was a perfect compliment to her
physically demanding lifestyle. Her chiropractor would say to her, “Our bodies have a
God given ability to heal and getting the body to relax is the first step in getting the body
in balance.” This sparked her interest in pursuing a career in holistic health.
Michelle has worked at Chiropractic/Physiotherapy Clinics, gyms, hotels, dance/yoga
studios and spas in England and Canada. She has massaged and taught yoga to a diverse
clientele, from athletes to desk jockeys. The skills she has developed can help a range of
ailments, such as dancers tight hips to repetitive strain from working on a computer all
day.
Her yoga experience includes Ashtanga and Iyengar styles. The outline of her classes will
be customized with emphasis on foundation: Breathing (pranayama),Energy locks
(bandhas), and fluidity of movement (asanas).
